Job Description
- Develops an understanding of existing departmental processes and software applications.
- Consults with users to gain an understanding of desired functionality to define system requirements.
- Write new and/or modify existing program code and/or job control languages.
- Being a key member of a development team designing, coding, testing, documenting and installing applications that enable businesses to operate more effectively and competitively.
- Responds to applications system problems and makes necessary corrections and/or modifications to resolve problems.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science preferred
- Good understanding of the software development process
- Familiarity with programming languages and general software is essential.
- Competent in more than one programming language
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing software solutions.
- Knowledge of .net, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, C# is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- 0-2 years experience in software development
