Job brief

We are looking for Business Development Analysts who will be the liaison between Development Channel Limited and its clientele. The successful candidates will be able to take responsibility for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

Job purpose:

  • Managing large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Following call center “scripts” when handling different topics
  • Identifying customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and providing solutions

  • Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
  • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Seize opportunities to up-sell products when they arise
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
  • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
  • Frequently attend educational seminars to improve knowledge and performance level
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
Job Requirements


  • Proficient communication skills - strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Strong I.T/computer literacy with typing speed of 35 words per minute
  • Degree in any field from a reputable University
  • International languages like French, Portuguese, Amharic, Arabic, Swahili, German & Congolese
  • Easily comprehends business needs
  • Experience in a customer support role is an added advantage
  • Track record of achieving targets
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems and practices
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • God fearing character with a compassionate heart
  • All visa, transport, work permit, accommodation and living expenses while in Uganda shall be met by the applicant.
