Job Description
We're running an Online Hiring Tournament on May 19th to hire QA Manual Testers (USD $20K/yr).
This event will include all testing for the role. Upon grading the deliverables from the event, we will set up qualified candidates with an interview with the hiring manager, who can hire 30 QA Manual Testers. This is a 100% remote, full-time role.

Crossover is looking for quality assurance software testers to work on multiple products, technologies, and environments, documenting and recording high quality test cases. Our software testers are expected to be able to walk through features or products and identify problems, file bugs in product with a detailed description of the path of arrival to the bug as well as the bug itself. All applicants should be familiar with industry best practices for testing products including:
- Write industry standard defect reports
- Defect classification and issue severity rating
- White box, black box, and gray box testing
- Code coverage
- Integration, system, and regression testing
- Agile methodologies e.g. SCRUM
- Defect management tools such as JIRA
- Customer use cases
- Test documentation

Job Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related fields
- QA experience – manual testing execution and test case documentation
- Experience designing and updating test campaigns based on formal/informal requirements
- Team player, methodical, pragmatic, self-starter, process-driven and results oriented.
- Excellent English communication abilities.
