Configuration Management Implementer

Role Description:

• Implement Configuration Management (CM) by Establishing and maintaining the integrity of work products using configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status, and configuration audits.
• Analyzes proposed product design changes to determine the effect on the overall system.

Responsibilities:

• Create Configuration Management plan and defines the strategy to be used for change management.
• Identify configuration items, components, and related work products to be placed under configuration management.
• Manage changes made to work products, ensure that changes are tracked and propagated throughout a project to enable efficient changes
• Create / release baselines for internal use and for delivery.
• Tracking the configuration of each configurable item, and updating the baseline.
• Establish and maintain records describing configuration items.
• Perform functional configuration audits and ensure changes are made properly
• Building and providing specifications to build work products from the configuration management system
• Establish different product environment
• Use effective methods to package and deliver the release product to customer
• Establish Deployment Guide and release notes.
• Prepares directives for change authorization and implementation.
• Work closely with quality assurance and project team to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.
