Job Description

  • Supporting in the overall design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research projects
  • Managing small to medium research projects with the supervision of a Research Manager
  • Working on a number of different projects at the same time (normally in different subject areas and with different teams)
  • Drafting presentations, using visual storytelling
  • Supporting in proposal writing
  • Project management and supplier relationship management
  • Effective communication with clients, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Carry out tasks displaying solid basic research knowledge
  • Work the data; check simple data accurately and make logical recommendations
  • Interpret group findings on basic projects, draw conclusions and write reports from charted analysis
  • Take notes for senior moderators, moderate basic groups competently and contribute to group debriefings.
  • Maintain client relationships by liaising effectively with clients on project-related information and progress updates/preparing weekly reports; measure to be set through review process
  • Keep abreast of current trends within market research, in order to develop personal skills/knowledge base
  • Provide a safe pair of hands in managing more complex research projects i.e. set up more detailed questionnaires, more advanced analytical requirements and demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge across markets

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, Statistics or related studies
  • Other advanced techniques and ability to design a competent and fluent discussion guide for most projects (qualitative research only)
  • Draft basic proposals, reports and presentations, displaying appropriate knowledge for experience level
  • Keen to learn and proactive about self-development and development of others
  • An outgoing, ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to take responsibility for a variety of tasks
  • A ‘team player’ who is willing to help colleagues whenever necessary
  • Curiosity about what makes people think and act the way they do
  • Attention to detail and the ability to examine a problem from different perspectives
  • Logical and creative thinking
  • The ability to argue a point coherently
  • High level of organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and respond to requests
  • Strong report writing skills, including the ability to boil down a complex project to key visual PowerPoint slides that tell the story and provide recommendations
  • The ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external clients
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Experience of quantitative research is necessary, experience of qualitative research is desired
  • Experience of project management end to end
  • Experience with innovative ways of approaching research methods such as media measurement (both traditional and social) is preferable.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Well versed in social media, both personally and professionally
  • Good knowledge of the MS office suite- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
