Job Description
- Set the department strategy, action plan and job descriptions.
- Maintaining statistical and financial records in addition to managing budgets.
- Responsible for managing the team, developing, planning, recruitment, organizing incentives as long as communicating with the sales and marketing departments to accomplish specific objectives.
- Trace daily department’s operation and monitoring the achieved numbers through calculating the materialized requests, and finally comparing actual numbers with received monthly report from the accounting department.
- Provide high standards of ongoing training for the team so that they possess sufficient knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner.
- Provide and design Travel products on regular basis.
- Meeting regularly with team members to provide them with the sales figures and plan how they approach their work.
- Managing staff, and staff training needs.
Job Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel)
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
