About the Job

Job Summary:

  • The ideal candidate is a motivated person who demonstrates diverse experience in technical aspects concerning localization and internationalization.
  • They will be responsible for scheduling, managing, and implementing localization for the content and interface of Nagwa’s products. The localization will include web and educational content, web and app user interfaces, and marketing materials.
  • The position will contribute to product delivery as well as the branding of the company.


  • Managing translation and localization processes and vendors
  • Developing Nagwa’s writing style in cooperation with the content writer and the localization vendors
  • Developing project strategy and planning the needed resources, which include project kits, the selection of vendors, and management of the budget
  • Reviewing, prioritizing, and tracking the progress of issues that affect localized product content in terms of relevancy, quality, and functionality
  • Coordinating with the product and engineering teams and vendors to synchronize documentation efforts and localization schedules, as well as ensuring high-quality documentation of all project-related materials
  • Coming up with and implementing creative solutions to improve the localization process
  • Monitoring finances closely and managing projects’ budgets and invoicing
  • Conducting localizability assessments
  • Communicating project status to stakeholders
  • Signing off on the uploaded localized versions
Job Requirements

Qualifications & Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, translation, linguistics, or technology
  • 3+ years of proven experience in managing high-quality localization projects
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Fluency in another language besides English is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of internationalization and localization
  • Hands-on experience with localization platforms and tools
  • Strong and proven skills in project planning and resource and risk management
  • Familiarity with web publishing technologies, software development processes, and design
