Crowd Analyzer -a technical startup- is the leading Arabic social media listening tool in the MENA region and worldwide. We work with clients from different sectors and industries to enhance their social media marketing strategies and business objectives. We support Arabic sentiment analysis with different dialects using Proprietary Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing.
We’re looking to add two DevOps engineers to our team to be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting and improving the systems that keep the backend infrastructure running smoothly. The role requires you to have hands-on technical experience and a can-do approach towards environment automation / management and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
- Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud based production system, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems.
- Ensuring critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
- Providing direct server support during various operations such as deployment and general production.
- Collaborating with developers to make sure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices.
Job Requirements
- Experience in implement, maintain, and improve continuous integration, testing, delivery and deployment environment.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2 and S3
- Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Docker Containers and scheduling frameworks (e.g Kubernetes, Amazon ECS).
- Familiarity with distributed data platforms (e.g. Hadoop, Spark and ElasticSearch).
- Experience with configuration management tools preferred in Ansible
- Expertise in open source monitoring systems (Prometheus, Sensu), NewRelic and Splunk.
- Experience implementing CI/CD
- Ubuntu expertise, with adept command of the CLI
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
- Knowledge of Javascript and node.js is be a plus.
