Advisable Wealth Engines (AWE) is a US-based software development company serving the wealth management and investment industry in North America, the Eurozone, MENA, and Australia.

AWE produces cloud-based platforms that integrate a number of vital functions essential for producing well-constructed and well-performing portfolios: investor profiling; portfolio analysis; investment analysis; stock/bond screening and selection; portfolio optimization; portfolio rebalancing; performance reporting; data aggregation; proposal generation; portfolio/product brochures.

AWE uses a unique analytical scope for investment analysis using a proprietary factor-analysis system that identifies the best performing stocks/bonds that can be assembled into factor themes for direct investing (factors are defined stock/bond characteristics covering performance/risk statistics, financial fundamentals, and environmental/social/governance).

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and a talented UI designer to design and to shape unique, user-centric products and experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UX designers and copywriters. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
  • Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)
  • Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with developers, marketing team and product owners.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a must.
  • Three or more years of experience and proven track record.
  • Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview.
  • Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
  • Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, Quartz.
  • Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript.
  • Creative ideas with problem solving mindset.
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
  • Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
