Vacancy:

We are recruiting professional caliber to join the Engineering team as per the following details:

Designation: Engineering Manager

Location : Multicare For Pharmaceutical Industries Manufacturing Site - The Industrial Zone, 03rd Settlement, New Cairo ( Kattamia)

Reporting : Plant Manager Manager

Grade: FEM01/FEM03

Job Purpose:

Engineering Manager to be responsible for Manufacturing Engineering governance and New Product Introduction, ensuring required product quality, cost and delivery are delivered to program and align with the strategic business needs. Drive understanding of future business opportunities

A.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. General Tasks:

  • Being the Lead Manufacturing Engineer for the Engineering Department, ensuring best practice processes are developed.
  • Providing Manufacturing Engineering support to both customers and suppliers
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to equipment, processes and methods
  • Identifying and driving improvement initiative to reduce costs and improve on time delivery
  • Responsible for applying, maintaining and improving lean manufacturing procedures
  • Actively supporting the development needs of the team to ensure task flexibility
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Develop Engineering staff as appropriate to ensure retention and succession
  • Drive production line extension and work it as full fledged zero-based project with key deliverable and milestones detailed
  • Provide technical assistance to the engineering team to ensure equipment issues are addressed
  • Issue / review the necessary qualification documents required for the purchase of new equipment, such as user requirement specifications, design qualification, installation, operational and performance qualifications

2. Training and Maintenance:

  • Ensure that the required initial and continuing training of engineering and maintenance personnel is carried out and adapted according to training needs
  • Provide external maintenance contractual services and issue respective technical agreements
  • Maintain accurate and secure records for all engineering maintenance activities performed and to ensure that they are performed as per schedule

3. Preventive Maintenance:

  • Establish the initial Preventive Maintenance / Calibration activities for equipment / instruments that are in accordance with the prevailing guidelines and specifications
  • Schedule and publish a maintenance plan discussed and approved from relevant Function Heads and report the outcome to the site management team on agreeable time interval
  • Select the initial Maintenance Strategy for new equipment and provide updates to maintain strategy current
  • Implement equipment reliability plans by ensuring job plans and tasks are

Job Requirements

B. Qualifications:

- Education:

  • Bachelor in Science Degree with a major in Engineering or an equivalent field required
  • English proficiency
  • Computer Literate

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of related experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or similar operations required preferably at leadership functional responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, and regulatory agencies
  • Strong knowledge in Compliance Information Systems and SOPs
  • Have the technical ability to learn and direct maintenance and engineering processes, evaluate and understand problems, devise a technical solution and implement that solution via staff and procedural means
