Job Description

  • Manage the entire process in the planning of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory and stock control, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities
  • Manage inventory of materials and final products and drive improvements in forecast accuracy
  • Implement effective internal control, proper design and functioning of a client-oriented procurement management system for projects and related reporting requirements
  • Develop, implement and ensure effective use of internal Standard Operating Procedures in Procurement, control of workflows, continuous business processes monitoring and elaboration of improvements in systems and processes
  • Implement strategic procurement including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management and performance measurement
  • Develop/Maintain profitable supply chain plan for existing and new product introduction by coordinating requirements across various functional areas to include sourcing, procurement, materials, and inventory functions
  • Ensure meeting the end market demands in line with in-market sales and within the company’s stock and shelf life policy
  • Project management of products local manufacturing and source of supply changes
  • Established Annual Procurement Plan that includes the Strategic Sourcing of main categories, savings target, and main procurement system enhancement to reduce non-added value activities.
  • Monitoring Strategic Sourcing projects for main categories. Main categories include: Marketing Related Requirements (Printing, Merchandising Materials, IT Equipment, Fleet, Office Equipment, and Stationary).
  • Lead negotiation costs with suppliers across different markets and with global suppliers.
  • Liaise with functional and operational area managers (for example in sales and production planning) to ensure that supply and activities are integrated with other parts of the business
  • Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, major suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors (for example suppliers) to minimize costs and ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Ensuring the adequacy of inventory of materials in accordance with inventory cycle procedures and institutional philosophy
  • Facilitate the provision of data to meet future sales plans and direct implementation of new products in factories
  • Review future sales volumes and forecast periodically to update supply and supply data
  • Monitoring the company's initial production plans Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop supply chain staff to ensure that resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met

Job Requirements

  • 10-15 years of Experience
  • Experience in Fashion, Textile and Ready Made Garments industry is a must
  • Excellent English
