Job Description

Website Management:

  • Manage all products, including product descriptions, technical data, product features, product imagery, pricing, options, etc.
  • Create and execute of marketing promotions, digital banners.
  • Optimize site usability.
  • Create quarterly sales goals and drive profitable platform growth.
  • Monitor, measure, and grow sales. Provide weekly and monthly sales data reports.
  • Improve product ranking by constantly optimize listings for placement and organic search performance by improving details such as title, description, images, reviews, prices, product specs, customer questions, etc.).
  • Update online content, including marketing content, events, recognition, executive bios, product descriptions, pricing, product sort order, and product photography
  • Manage online SKU portfolio, ensure the accuracy of information and coordinate with engineering for support
  • Ensure all products have appropriate sku data, imagery, and copy ready to post when the product is available for sale
  • Manage and optimize site cross-sells, site search, site speed, customer reviews/satisfaction score, personalization, including seo strategy.
  • Review transaction data, reports, customer feedback and analytics; provides recommendations and assists in developing new strategies, offerings and initiatives to maximize sales.
  • Ensure site performance and quality through Site Improve and Google Analytics – including site load times, quality assurance, correct links, SEO meta tags, and current content
  • Create engaging landing pages, e-mails and display ads for digital marketing efforts ensuring optimal click-through rate and conversions
  • Research competitors to ensure our listings outperform theirs
  • Investigate and reports operational or technical issues that may arise, and troubleshoot problems
  • Make recommendations on areas of product expansion, based on key research
  • Plan and work closely with the Marketing department to integrate optimization strategies with other company initiatives.

  • Continuously monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators, visits, conversion rate, ROI, cost analysis.

Email marketing management

  • Manage direct to consumer email marketing program, ensuring the timely launch and execution of promotional, triggered & transactional campaigns.
  • Develop comprehensive Direct to Consumer Email Marketing strategy in collaboration with Digital Supervisor.
  • Update and test email marketing campaigns to ensure maximum deliverability and engagement.
  • Monitor email campaign performance and proactively identify opportunities for increased engagement and loyalty
  • Email list management and growth optimization.

Social Media Management

  • Apply social media marketing plan to increase the effectiveness of online sales efforts, and increase customer satisfaction
  • Ensue our online business presence across social media platforms
  • Optimize social media posts to be delivered to right audience.
  • Moderate Social Media accounts in highly world-class manner.
  • Update & schedule social media posts.
  • Run social Media ads.
  • Assure our website value & message on social media channels are consistent with overall digital marketing activities i.e special promotions/offers etc.

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ E-Commerce experience strongly preferred working with (Souq & Jumia)
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple E-Commerce platforms strongly preferred (Prestashop, Shopify, WooCommerce etc.).
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office, internet, email etc.
  • Proficient with PPC Advertising.
  • Understanding of key word importance to list items online effectively is essential
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Understanding and familiarity with key E-Commerce trends, usability concepts, and web best practices.
  • Knowledge of Google Keywords & Analytics and other SEO tools a big plus
  • Independent worker and a creative problem-solver
  • Ability to offer flexibility in schedule, understanding that some projects may require additional work during evenings and some weekends
  • Strong ability to think through, plan, innovate and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, high- pressure environment
  • Brainstorming new & creative idea support E-commerce best practices.
