Job Description
- Studying and reviewing of all tender Documents, Procedures, and Design Reports to ensure feasibility of the project requirements with the available resources.
- Proactive, identify & bring to the attention of project executive manager of any potential problems which could delay development & cost deviations during projects execution
- Preparation of project documents (work installation procedure, lifting plans, inspection test plan.....etc).
- Determine and preparation of project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; sequencing project elements.
- Supervision of fit-up, welding and fabrication activities at a yard.
- Supervision & performing NDT.
- Perform any shop/support drawing required.
- Perform some calculations as supporting documents such as (weights, buoyancy ....etc)
- Review & assist in the preparation of the supported project documents from another department (risk assessment, quality plans....etc).
- Follow up with procurement department regarding any project materials required.
- Follow up with HSE department and review the project materials/equipment certificates.
- Supervision of projects/field engineers.
- Acts as project site manger and perform the project activities onboard the marine unit as per the approved work procedure and project specifications.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; preparing progress report; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Provide effective Interface and coordination with Client Representative, barge Master, Subcontractors and Project team to ensure the scope of work is completed in accordance with approved procedures.
- Organize appropriate meetings with the Clients / Diving, projects & construction teams.
- Ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner and in line with company health and safety guidelines/policies.
- Review of all QC documents (WPS, WPQ, NDT Reports, welding maps, welding logs, traceability…………..etc).
- Preparation and submittal of field site reports and as-built project documentation
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. of Mechanical / naval Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Very good AutoCAD
- Very good Microsoft Office
- Very good Microsoft Project
- Fluent English
- Familiar with international codes and standards (Oil & gas)
- Familiar with the cranes, load charts, and rigging equipment
- Pre-Commissioning works
- Offshore marine operations & subsea installation methodologies & best practice
