General Job Purpose:
Accomplish business sales strategies and plans by researching and developing marketing opportunities and coordinating marketing plans with the marketing executives; implementing sales plans and managing all relevant involved staff.
Job Description:
- Assign contacts to the sales account managers and follow up with them to make sure that they achieve their monthly respective targets.
- Achieve the monthly department target.
- Organize a meeting once a month with the finance, electrical and logistics departments.
- Monitor tender department (action sheets, offers quality, pricing, manufacturer reports, data base, team structure and meeting projects deadline).
- Supervise the design department and prioritizes its work.
- Coordinate between different departments effectively (design, electrical, finance…etc).
- Meet the marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions.
- Determine annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting sand developing annual sales quotes for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
- Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; and anticipating new opportunities.
- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Proactively manage customers’ satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service problems and monitoring satisfaction.
- Manage assigned customers’ transition from the Business Development group during customer implementation.
- Develop customer account plans for all assigned customers by leading a joint company/customer planning process that identifies relevant customer needs, prioritizes initiatives and company investments, and establishes a clear action plan for success.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in lighting field.
- Post graduate degree (MBA) in sales or marketing is a Must.
- Proficient in English.
