Job Description
- Develop curriculum and lesson plans targeting areas related to child development such as social, motor and language skills to prepare them for kindergarten stage.
- Work with students one to one or in groups introducing routines, literacy, math concepts and develop work habits.
- Create a balanced routine for children through play-based activities, learning circles and rest time.
- Guide the students work and activities within the classroom and during outdoor play.
- Assess student’s understanding of the lessons.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in English with focus on Education preferably in Early Childhood Education
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Calm, cheerful, friendly and pleasant flexible personality.
- American /Canadian nationality an asset.
- Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum an asset.
- Effective classroom management and problem solving strategies.
