Job Description
Purpose of the role and key responsibilities:
The veterinarian is responsible for leading a well-trained team who aims to alleviate pain and suffering for the working equine through;
- Provide a high quality of Veterinary service at static and mobile clinics
- Improve good Animal Welfare practices
- Maintain a high level of clinical work environment standards.
- Improve community engagement awareness
- In addition to veterinary administrative tasks such as; recording of cases and drugs ... etc.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine (Occupational licensing is a must)
- Affinity with the charitable goal of the BHA Egypt organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Very good command of English language (spoken and written).
- Relevant computer applications literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
- Ability to manage multi priorities, learn and develop own skills
- Self-motivated, innovative and willing to participate in the organization development and progress.
- Preferable good knowledge of large animal handling.
- Preferable young age Male Vet for the nature of the work which requires;
- Physical effort (active, hard worker and good fitness)
- Able to work sole in border and rural areas and be responsible for the safety of own team as a mobile clinic team leader.
(Female and the elder vet must declare that they understand and accept the nature of the work)
