Job Description
- Coach, train, and appraise quality control team.
- Develop quality control plan & ensure proper implementation.
- Lead factory investigation team & find quality problems root cause.
- Follow up on corrective & preventive actions efficiency.
- Daily follow up on export product quality & final inspection.
- Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out, documented and results are analyzed.
- Initiate lab testing working instructions, testing procedures and product specification manual.
- Follow up on product inspection, daily measurements, daily testing & sensors, camera verification.
- Create any required SPC templates for new product & lab working sheets.
- Verify approvals time & quality.
- Share with other departments daily product defects on the daily morning meeting.
- Investigate customer complaints & follow up corrective and preventive actions to ensure proper implementation.
- Work closely with production & mold workshop teams to solve repeated quality problems.
- Follow up on trial system efficiency.
- Cover QC supervisor and Q.C manager only on vacations for responsibilities.
- Ensure all safety & Health rules are implemented by him and his subordinates in the department.
- Implement all food safety rules and regulations as required.
Job Requirements
- BSC form practical faculty (e.g. Engineering)
- TQM diploma is an asset
- At least 3 years experience in QC
- Good English language
- Advanced Computer
- Leadership skills is a must.
- Communication skills is a must.
Technical Skills Required:
- Closure technical information e.g. closure drawing, RMs used & expected defects for each type of closure and defect severity rating.
- Technical knowledge of camera inspection systems.
- Fully acquainted with all QC SOPs & working instructions.
- Understand SPC concepts.
- Capable to create systems, SOPs & instructions for QC according to ISO standard.
- Coaching skills.
- Root cause analysis and problem solving techniques.
- Capable to work with computer program e.g. Excel ,Word, Power point , SPC
