Job Description
- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
- Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
- Producing long-term business plans
- Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
- Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
- Managing budgets
- Developing and managing financial systems/models
- Carrying out business modeling and risk assessments
- Supervising staff
- Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues.
Job Requirements
- Educated to degree level and fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) would be an asset.
- Experience working within a commercial or operational finance environment, preferably within an FMCG company.
- Effective influencing and communication skills, with an ability to simplify the complex.
- Strong strategic mindset with excellent analytical skills and a logical way of thinking.
- Ability to relate to and influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Proactively drives and embraces change, and feels comfortable with ambiguity.
