Job Description
- Setting daily targets to be achieved on site as per project schedule.
- Implementing the planned project schedule and updating the site manager with regular reports.
- Estimating and/or evaluating the weekly required resources for the site.
- Supervising and inspecting the site works, performing quality assurance and checking that is it going according to schedule, technical specification and good workmanship.
- Supervising and making sure that resources on site are used in the best way serving the project time schedule and the work as a whole.
- At the beginning of each project, Site Engineers should be revising the drawings, specifications and contract conditions concerning the site and/or construction to summarize the important points which should be considered.
- Sending the seniors, site managers and technical office feedback reports or sendig data to assist in overcoming and solving site problems.
- Following up the paper works cycle of the site to ensure the inclusion of all important documents of the site in the proper files.
- Issuing daily site reports.
- Checking the specs of materials supplied to the site and its matching with what was required (quality assurance).
- Preparing a complete documentation for quantities surveying which should be regularly updated according to site works and evaluating the sub-contractors’ valuations and draft of monthly project valuation.
- Assisting the seniors and site managers by making decisions to solve sudden problems occurring on site.
- Following and using the site visit/instruction book in documenting and performing all site instructions.
- Directing any expenses or task costs to its correct cost center code.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Excellent use of AutoCad.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word and Excel).
