Job Description
The UI/Frontend Developer will join our development team and will be responsible for the designing, developing, maintenance, and modification of visually appealing, user-friendly, and functionally robust web and mobile applications.
Duties will include:
- Develop new user-facing features.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Develop interactive content.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
- Good understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as JQuery, Bootstrap and AngularJS
- Familiarity with CreateJS , Flash ActionScript3 is a plus but not required
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Strong understanding of JSON
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
- Familiarity with tools such as Sketch and Photoshop.
