Job Description
- An exiting opportunity has arisen for a qualified general accountant for a fast growing boutique international law firm in Dubai.
- We are currently hiring for a general accountant to handle day-to-day general accounting tasks to include: recording of financial events complying with GAAP.
- Maintaining client’s trust liabilities ledger/s, accounts receivable, sub-ledger/s.
- Manage petty cash records and check balances, prepare monthly reconciliation bank statements, prepare proforma/VAT invoices and follow up on collection.
- Preparing payroll and WPS sheets.
Job Requirements
- A good command of English is a MUST.
- Candidate must have a bachelor degree from a reputable university. A CPA holder (or its equivalent) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a law firm firm or other consultancy firms is required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks is required.
- Public Accounting experience a plus. Candidate must have solid VAT experience.
