Job Description
We are looking for a React Native developer who loves challenges, can build complex React Native mobile applications, and meet deadlines. If you like challenges and seek perfection, we would love you to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Build mobile applications that work seamlessly on IOS & Android (Native experience would be plus)
- Collaborate closely with the Team-lead to understand the requirements and implementation details.
- Estimate the deadline for the projects that you will be working on and meet those deadlines.
- Developing and releasing complex, data-driven apps using React Native as the primary application framework.
- Coding/Debugging Android and iOS apps using simulators and related tooling.
- Developing reusable UI Components or libraries.
- Integrating with/retrieving data from web RESTful APIs.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in writing modern JavaScript while making sure that the code is efficient, readable, and reusable.
- Knowledge of the React Native Component life cycle.
- Creating custom Components and styling them based on professional design requirements.
- Leveraging community libraries to efficiently complete development tasks.
- Accessing platform-specific APIs using Native Modules.
- Optimizing app performance and memory consumption.
- Proficient in Git.
- Persisting data for offline-first apps is a plus.
- A degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
Not required but a plus to have:
- Writing test specs using tools such as Jest, Mocha, and Chai D.
- Developing native mobile apps using Swift, Objective-C, or Java.
