Job Description

Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Sells products by implementing sales plans; supervising sales staff.
  • Implement sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in UAE market.
  • Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Identify market shifts & Dynamics while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Determine gross-profit plans by analyzing trends and results.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for different accounts / territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition.
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly.
  • Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate and close new deals.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics in UAE.
  • Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for UAE geography and accounts.
  • Prepare analytical reports as needed.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Supports initiatives that ensure product profitability.
  • Achieves product growth targets in the assigned geography (UAE) for all product lines.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Manage Inventory and purchases from suppliers.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT:

  • Reports to GM - Dubai.
  • Works closely with Sales & Marketing Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Works closely with logistics & warehouse team to ensure uninterrupted product supply and having on hand healthy stock.

Job Requirements

Sales Manager Skills and Qualifications:

  • Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Coaching, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge, Developing Budgets, Staffing ....
  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
