Job Description
- Review and assess tenders ensuring all tender documents are received and are correct.
- Compile letter of offer, tender schedules and other items required by the tender.
- Preparing the details of various projects, analyzing the projects separately, compiling the analysis for evaluation, and developing the separate estimation report.
- Developing detailed cost estimates, providing multi discipline project concepts with distinctive cost estimating procedure, beneficial for capital raising projects for the company
- Maintaining the current and previous estimation records, and referring to it occasionally for ensuring the range of accuracy, compliance, and completeness in the evaluated results
- Collaborating with various organizations for determining the exact scope of work required in estimating report, reviewing and discussing the same with organizational heads for specific approach towards cost containment
- Reviewing the method / procedure adopted by the organization for estimation purpose, and determining the scope of development in the same
- Providing technical support to junior engineers and other team members regarding the estimation process, assisting project managers and contractors regarding bid analysis, and negotiating the same with contracting personnel
- Reviewing designing packaging, project drawings, etc., providing technical insights regarding its development, and preparing directions for estimating process accordingly
- Dealing with sub-contractors, and studying their offers.
- Preparing comparison sheet for collected materials and sub-contractors offers.
- Preparation of detailed commercial offer including price breakdown and optional prices.
- Develop company’s database related to all key information and sub-contractors offer.
- Contributing the estimation department statistics (Monthly reports, Quarter reports and Annual reports).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience
