Farm Manager

Job Description

• Supervising all activities within the assigned site(s).
• Leading the construction activities on-site as needed.
• Leading the production activities for the facilities in the assigned site.
• Maintaining the proper growth, production, and quality assurance of crops in coordination with the instructions supplied by the Technical Team.
• Providing guidance and support to the Production Engineers in performing and supervising all production activities in the farm.
• Maintaining the high spirit and productivity of the farm team.
• Direct supervision of the workforce in activities related to the construction of new modules, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the infrastructure of existing modules.
• Assuming responsibility for the overall farm infrastructure and its condition.
• Perform weekly inspections on the status of farm infrastructure, and provide a periodic report on infrastructure status, as well as any activities involving regular or irregular maintenance.
• Assuming overall operational agricultural responsibilities of the production process.
• Providing input on the production process in coordination with the Production Engineer, and respective research personnel.
• Attending/Presenting the company in various events as required by the management
• Supporting the Principal Agricultural Researcher in developing and updating the comprehensive instructions and guidelines for the production process.
• Participating with the production management on determining the optimal selection of crop production per period.
• Supervising the supply chain activities of the farm from purchasing to inventory management to logistics management.
• Maintaining proper documentation for all of the above.
