Job Description
- Supporting the vision, positive ethos and policies of the school.
- Supporting the review and implementation of the school development plan and taking sole responsibility for appropriately delegated aspects of it and monitoring progress towards their achievement.
- Supporting the evaluation of the effectiveness of the school's policies and developments.
- Supporting all staff in achieving the priorities and targets that the school sets for itself and to provide staff with support and guidance.
- Leading effective school improvement initiatives.
- Providing excellent coaching for both new and experienced teachers.
- Conducts daily class visits in all departments and keeps record of the Class Visit Reports.
- Checks students written material and follow-up notebooks daily and keep record of the Written Material Follow-up Reports.
- Sets remedial plans for the weak students according to the school Remedial Policy.
- Acts as an academic adviser to different teachers in all departments as needed and as assigned by the school administration.
- Collaborating with the school principal to set school policies and procedures for students, staff, and parents, and following up with the implementation of such plans
- Planning and preparing student and staff schedules
Job Requirements
- Not less than 10 years experience in which 5 years are in a similar position (In Schools).
- Fluency in the English language.
- Knowledge of the different primary subjects.
- Knowledge of general and subject-specific teaching skills and strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Several years of teaching experience.
