Job Description
- Meet regularly with direct/indirect reports involved with the supply chain function to ensure that all supplies, materials, and products are ordered on time, shipped, and received on schedule and within quality requirements.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional relationships with other areas inside the organization which affect the supply chain performance.
- Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned procurement to negotiate the highest quality at best value.
- Scouting the market for potential suppliers to meet order requirements and specifications.
- Receive, review, and evaluate supplier proposals to ensure they meet proposal requirements
Job Requirements
- Detail oriented and has exceptional organization skills
- Understands the fundamentals of maintain data integrity
- Understanding of basic supply chain function
- Understanding of basic finance and accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in cost-cutting or improving operational efficiency
- Strong planning, decision making and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic contract formation and negotiation techniques is a plus
