Job Description
Summery:
- Studying structural documents related information, and to generate detailed design drawings, calculation notes and 3D models with the highest quality considering task's deadlines and special requirements, and following company’s internal quality control system.
Responsibilities:
- Study and collect all related data of the assigned tasks.
- Choose appropriate structural system.
- Estimate tasks time schedules.
- Review steel elements and connections, and check on stability.
- Generate detailed design drawings, calculation notes and 3D models.
- Perform required modifications.
- Attend project/team meetings and to prepare required data reports.
- Follow project’s documentations filing system instructions.
- Follow project/task’s special processing tools such as forms, reports, check lists and software.
- Guide and support new team members.
- Follow company’s policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Full awareness of steel design codes:
AISC, Eurocode, Egyptian Code - Strong knowledge of steel design, detailing and modeling software:
CSI programs, STAAD Pro. , Tekla, CAD, members and connection design software
Qualifications:
- Formal education: B.Sc. of Structural Engineering
- Years of Experience: 3-5 years in Steel structures DESIGN is a MUST
- Language/s: Good English
