Job Description
We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end development activities. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, architecture, and to help building and maintaining our state-of-the-art cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with project manager to decide the best way to implement software solutions
- Develop custom functionality based on requirements
- Developing and implementing new features and functionality
- Write clean, well-designed code
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
Job Requirements
- Solid experience in developing PHP web applications and web services
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Comfortable working with debugging tools
- Understanding of common design patterns such as MVS, Singleton, etc.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Knowledge of current web standards, optimization techniques and best practices
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred
- Experience using a source control system such as Subversion or Git
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
