About the project

We are a team of advocates who are trying to establish an online channel for Egyptian women to tell their story. Our aim is to be a source of inspiration for Egyptian women of all ages and from all walks of life.

Our main channels of work are Facebook, Instagram & You Tube.

About the job

  • Build and execute social media strategy.
  • Social Media Planning: Developing our social media campaigns (movie-based or event-based).
  • Deliver real time content within relevant social spaces which dynamically engages the audience of the different social media channels, i.e. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • Oversight of daily posting and engagement across social platforms.
  • Responsible for developing and managing social media activities [Facebook , YouTube & Instagram.
  • Planned calendar for the social media campaigns, day to day activities to increase brand awareness.
  • Responsible for day and weekly and monthly reports for each pages to quantify and qualify effectiveness interactive campaigns.
  • Content Creator (Copy Writing, posting, handling all user's questions).
  • Create online surveys.
  • Create reporting and analytics for social media performance.
  • Plan and manage editorial content calendars.
  • Allocate budgets and strategies for Promotional Campaigns & execute campaigns.
  • Create and Implement Advertising plans on Social Media Platforms.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
  • Responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact.
  • Creates content and special campaigns such as online events & contests.
  • Generate original content in English and Arabic and associated design work.

Job Requirements

  • Proven record of an experience in a relevant position (through work, internships, extra-curricular activities, etc.).
  • An excellent command of English and Arabic expressive writing; the ability to edit and write effective content in different styles: for Instagram & Facebook.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels (FB and You Tube).
  • The ability to communicate professionally and with a unique "voice" per brand name.
  • A keen eye for detail, well-honed research skills and the ability to build on it by generating solid content.
  • An enthusiastic, outgoing attitude, a natural ability to interface with people, in all sorts of situations, and working in a team.
  • Versatility, flexibility and the ability to multi-task and turn chaos into order.
  • Very good in English.
  • Bachelor's degree .
  • Exp.2-4 years in in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
  • Content creator.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of social media metrics.
  • Able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.
  • Creative mind.
  • Passionate about all online.
  • Up to speed with what is going on in the online world.
  • 2-4 years experience in online media/publishing or marketing creating video and social media content.
  • Strong project management and people skills.
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines.
  • Solution-oriented approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Comfortable with using and learning data sources as diverse as Google Analytics, Facebook’s audience tools, etc.
  • Understanding of the digital landscape and a proven interest in keeping up to date with developments in the web platform.
  • Excellent skills in Copywriting.
  • Photoshop & movie editing skills a plus.
  • Availability of stable Internet access.
  • Must have experience using Google Analytics and AdWords.
  • Proven working experience in social media or related field.
  • Knowledge of branding, marketing strategies, and events.
  • High interest in the fields of innovation and technology for development.
  • Passion for social media and online engagement.
  • Good knowledge of social networks and web analytics, as well as, scheduling and monitoring tools like Hootsuite and Buffer.
