Job Description
- Conceptualize and create new products in line with the direction provided by the design manager
- Participate in the conceptualization and creation of product platforms and different product families and lines
- Participate in setting the material and design specifications for new products
- Analyze existing products with a view to improving their efficiency and overall performance.
- Deliver finalized product design documentation to production facility.
- Coordinate with the company departments including sales, research and development, production and marketing.
- Research and identify the latest product trends and designs in the lighting industry
- Assist in prototyping and testing concept designs at the various stages of the design process.
- Assist in the development of cost models for the proposed product concept
- Prepare presentations for higher level management to convey product concepts and ideas.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Art, Design, Architecture, or any similar discipline
- Years of Experience: 3-5.
- Excellent knowledge of product design software (Rhino – Grasshopper – 3DMax – Photoshop – In-design)
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to carry out detailed research
- Knowledge of the qualities of various materials.
- A creative approach to new ideas.
