Job Description
- Participate in the overall annual objective setting of Projects Business Unit, translate them into annual goals and targets and cascade them down to his own department in collaboration with his direct reports.
- Develop the policies & procedures of his supervised functions, ensuring compliance to the set policies and procedures.
- Develop and set the annual budget plan of his unit, ensuring alignment with the business unit’s vision and strategies and submit it to his direct manager for approval.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project.
- Supervise and approve the development and its implementation ensuring lessons learned are properly documented through the life of the project including Project Close-out
- Manage and develop and the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution of that plan
- Ensure the scope of work as related to construction/ fabrication, and installation in coherence with project specifications, Scope of Work, and in accordance with the approved Project Schedule.
- Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures/work instructions.
- Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among the ranks through the Company.
- Conduct performance appraisals session of his direct report in due time. Approve and follow-up on the implementation of training and development plan for department staff. Lead, manage, and motivate direct reports ensuring that they have clear objectives and receive feedback from them.
Job Requirements
- Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- PMP Certified.
- 15 years of experience.
- Experience in steel structure building is preferred.
- Experience in managing multi-projects is a must.
- Fluent in English.
- V.Good Presentation and negotiation skills.
- Greater Cairo resident is a must.
