Job Description
- Implements and executes different test types including smoke, regression, integration, and acceptance.
- Test web services and APIs
- Good mobile testing experience.
- Track and report defects using appropriate tools.
- Assures the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects by working with developers to ensure the software development process has an appropriate level of testing.
- Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans, cases and steps.
- Rigorously planning, Writing and executing test scripts.
- Perform manual regression testing.
- Creation and maintenance of test data, tools and scripts.
- Execute test plans manually and conduct functional and exploratory testing.
- Record and document results and compare to expected results.
- Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
- Continually update skills by learning new technologies relevant to the role.
