Job Description
- Develop concepts foradvertising or promotional campaigns, pitch ideas to client
- Supports and assists in developing and maintaining the creative vision for all assigned brands
- Responsible for all creative operations. Lead the creative department with a critical eye
- Approve or reject advertising campaign ideas.
- Ensure team (which includes copywriters, art directors, and designers) meets deadlines and stays within budget.
- Oversees the creative team to help develop the agency's creative product for clients.
- Works with account executivesto make sure the client's needs are being met and the creative goals are on track.
- Involved in every aspect of an ad campaign, and will conceptualize those ideas for clients, assign projects to staff, and verify the client's deadlines are being met.
- Responsible for the success & failure of any campaign
Job Requirements
Skills
- The ability to lead, and inspire, a team of creative people
- A solid background in copywriting and/or design and art direction
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, PowerPoint and other programs is usually (but not always) required
- Knowledge of each step of an ad campaign's process to give creatives direction, work on schedule and meet client's advertising expectations
- Great motivational and leadership abilities & strong communication and presentation skills
- Be knowledgeable and passionate about their client’s business, with a clear understanding of the brand’s values and where and how advertising contributes to its success
- Establish the agency’s creative philosophy, strategy and objectives, and occasionally representing the agency at industry events, panels and groups
- Direct the creative output, including TV commercials and social media content
