ella (ellaletter.com) is a Dubai-based media platform for women living and working in the Middle East. ella produces two weekly newsletters curating the latest career and travel articles as well as inspiring profiles of female newsmakers.
ella studios is a multimedia production agency that offers a range of editorial, social media and digital marketing services.
We are looking for an English-language Editor to join our fast-growing team.
The primary responsibilities will include:
- Work with a remote editorial team to produce two weekly newsletters
- Monitor MENA news publications
- Pitch story ideas, assign articles, seek out contributors
- Plan editorial calendar for the newsletter and social media channels
Job Requirements
- Native or near-native command of the English language
- Self-starter attitude and passion about news and advancement of women in the MENA region
