Job Description

  • We are looking for a People and Culture Manager to administer and build our people department.

  • We have a team of 20+ staff located in Maadi, Cairo.
  • This position will be based in Maadi and you will report to the Managing Director.

What you’ll do:

Conceive and execute Company HR strategy:

Employee Engagement:

  • Administer and improve company engagement
  • Plan and execute fun all-company activities including quarterly celebrations, retreats, and cultural exchanges
  • Continue implementation of company programs including give-back days and continuing education
  • Ensure that Company culture thrives as the company grows

Administrative:

  • Run payroll and ensure accuracy
  • Handle enrolment and maintenance. Be available for questions and work -with our contacts to answer any employee questions
  • Apply and lead to winning company awards (eg. best place to work)
  • Administer the employee quarterly review process

Employee Relations

  • Handle any and all employee relations issues utilizing best practices.
  • Get to know the employee and help them eliminate challenges
  • Balance employment policies with our fast entrepreneurial environment

Talent Acquisition (Recruiting)

  • Create effective job postings and screen candidates
  • Perform phone screens regularly to attract new talent and lead hiring efforts
  • Plan and coordinate new employees on-boarding and existing employees training
  • Coach and handle employees questions

Job Requirements

About You:

  • 2+ years (or more) of HR experience
  • Experience in a fast-moving, dynamic employment environment
  • Highly culture driven – you value your environment and strive to provide a great environment for employees
  • 2+ years’ experience in administrative HR (payroll, benefits)
  • Quick and eager learner, team player, and positive attitude
  • Plus: Experience working with remote teams
