Job Description
An enthusiastic Marketing Specialist is urgently needed.
The Marketing Specialist will be an integral part of the Communication Department, will be working in cooperation with the Communication and Client Development teams, and will report to the Communication Manager.
The Marketing Specialist should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify optimum communication channels.
- Translate our ideas into creative marketing strategies and tools.
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development, update, and optimization; press releases and periodical newsletters; local and international events planning and participation; etc.).
- Liaise with local and international external publishers on inclusion of our news and information.
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, etc.).
- Undertake individual marketing tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as the various social media channels)
- Demonstrable experience in marketing tools
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software and applications
- Knowledge of HTML and web development is preferred
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Corporate awareness partnered with a creative mind
- BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent (preferable an AUC graduate)
