Job Description

  • Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion.
  • Direct and motivate teams of art directors, illustrators, copywriters etc. to help them use their talents effectively.
  • Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas.
  • Write and design unique and well-crafted copy that meet the needs.
  • Revise content and presentations, approve/reject ideas, provide feedback to the team.
  • Train and guide subordinates into accomplished professionals.
  • Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future.
  • Delivering the art direction of an interactive project, from concept through to code.
  • Developing innovative and on-strategy designs and experiences which are highly resolved from a formal perspective, and which meet the objectives of the projects.
  • Solving problems conceptually in collaboration with the broader interactive team, including writers, UX designers, technologists, and developers.
  • Setting the visual direction for design, as well as photographers and illustrators as necessary.
  • Lead major cross-functional initiatives, identifying and removing roadblocks.
  • Working as a partner with Marketing to ensure that this vision is consistent with and reinforces our brand identity.
  • Bring strong product design portfolio.
  • Presenting persuasively and clearly articulating design rationale.
  • Monitors market trends and oversees advertising and marketing activities to ensure the right message is delivered for the product or service.

Job Requirements

  • BA and MA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role for at least five years.
  • Hand-on experience in the creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development.
  • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
  • Outstanding leadership and organization skills.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities.
  • Experience in advertising, marketing, corporate identity, brand management, sales promotion and/or new media communication.
  • Expertise in developing creative solutions in a variety of campaigns, across a broad range of problems and media, including advertising, graphic design, Corporate ID, interactive, and collateral.
  • Solid knowledge of the requirements of the creative process including typical time and resources needed to produce with efficient quality work on time, and to specification.
  • Demonstrated experience in creative content development
  • An intimate understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines.
  • Experience with a variety of software, including Photoshop, In Design, Flash, etc.
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
  • Strong persuasive skills
