Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
- A Client Development Officer is responsible for applying the Firm's guidelines, vision, and financial outline to drafting proposals.
- The proposals are usually created under a pressing deadline. You will be working with colleagues in the Client Development Department, lawyers, and the Managing Partner of the Firm.
- As the Client Development Officer, you will work to edit and design the finalized proposal document.
- You will also work to communicate the proposal in various ways, including graphic layouts and Powerpoint presentations.
- You will either be developing a template for all future proposals or ensuring that an established template is followed.
- You will also work with the proposal team to ensure that deadlines are met.
- In many situations, you could be working on multiple proposals at the same time.
- Finally, you will be responsible for communicating the progress of proposals to management.
- The successful candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills with superior attention to detail and accuracy.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Drafting Proposals as requested by Senior Partners and/or Partners.
- Coordinating with the liaison attorneys on the technical parts of the Proposal.
- Regular follow up on all the incoming e-mails and coordinate with Client Development Manager on the action to be taken regarding each e-mail to avoid any delay and ensure meeting the client’s request in a timely manner.
- Filing all the correspondences related to each Proposal.
- Adding all sent Proposal in the Department’s log.
- Follow up on receiving a reply on our Proposals from the Clients.
- Coordinate with the Billing Department regarding all accepted Proposals to make sure that they have entered into the Firm’s billing system.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree

- Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office programs and familiar with internet applications
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Team player – works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded.
Required Education
- Client Development Officers are expected to have a marketing certificate or degree and experience in the field of marketing / proposals / writing and editing.
- You will also need to be skilled in an office productivity suite like Microsoft Office.
- Client Development Officer will need to be able to accurately proofread the entire proposal.
