A Client Development Officer is responsible for applying the Firm's guidelines, vision, and financial outline to drafting proposals.
The proposals are usually created under a pressing deadline. You will be working with colleagues in the Client Development Department, lawyers, and the Managing Partner of the Firm.
As the Client Development Officer, you will work to edit and design the finalized proposal document.
You will also work to communicate the proposal in various ways, including graphic layouts and Powerpoint presentations.
You will either be developing a template for all future proposals or ensuring that an established template is followed.
You will also work with the proposal team to ensure that deadlines are met.
In many situations, you could be working on multiple proposals at the same time.
Finally, you will be responsible for communicating the progress of proposals to management.
The successful candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills with superior attention to detail and accuracy.
Drafting Proposals as requested by Senior Partners and/or Partners.
Coordinating with the liaison attorneys on the technical parts of the Proposal.
Regular follow up on all the incoming e-mails and coordinate with Client Development Manager on the action to be taken regarding each e-mail to avoid any delay and ensure meeting the client’s request in a timely manner.
Filing all the correspondences related to each Proposal.
Adding all sent Proposal in the Department’s log.
Follow up on receiving a reply on our Proposals from the Clients.
Coordinate with the Billing Department regarding all accepted Proposals to make sure that they have entered into the Firm’s billing system.
