Job Description
- Participating in the planning of the instrumentation maintenance programs “Routine, Preventive, Corrective, etc.”
- Lead, supervise, witness and follow up the contractor in the installation, calibration, maintenance, testing and repair the field instrumentation according to the instrumentation maintenance programs.
- Participate in inspection and testing of the contractor complete work ensuring its conformity to maintenance programs specifications.
- Responsible for performing the configuration, modification and troubleshooting activities for all the ICS system components “DCS, SIS, F&G, analyzers, sub systems PLCs, OPC, MULCOM, serial communication, etc.”
- Responsible for ensuring that company regulations related to safety and work permits are observed.
- Responsible for review, filling, report and update the work activities on System for the daily work schedules.
- Reports the unusual events or operating conditions to the Instrument Supervisor and superintendent
- Responsible for identifying, select and ensure the correct application of spare parts, materials and special tools needed for the instrumentation maintenance program.
- Liaise with operations and engineering teams regarding equipment performance, reliability and efficiency.
- Participation in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) of instrumentation and control packages as necessary
- Assist in shutdown and startup preparations and maintenance activities
- Follow the instrumentation section work rotation plan and responds to emergency calls as required.
Job Requirements
- 5-12 years of experience.
- Experience in with Petrochemical, gas production or petroleum industries is a must.
- Experience in DCS Yokogawa.
- Strong background in compressor control software and mark VI turbine control.
