Assistance with the reporting process, including the assessment of uncertain tax position, recognition of deferred tax balances.
Assistance in the preparation of the tax charge for the medium term plan.
Assistance in the preparation of the disclosure notes to the annual financial statements.
Preparation of all Corporation tax computations.
Preparation of all tax filing requirements monthly, quarterly and Annually.
Preparation of a number of VAT tax returns with partial exemption implications.
Monitoring local tax compliance and developing appropriate returns
Work closely with Group Tax in documenting and of contracts and new changes based on Group policy.
Work with the Group Tax Team on reducing WHT and refunding previous ones.
Provide assistance to local tax audits.
Ensure that all necessary legal documentation is in place to support any inter-company charges or trading arrangements.
Help the Group tax team to develop and maintain transfer pricing documentation to cover charges for management charges and other group charges such as shared global IT costs and Royalty and technology fees.
General ad-hoc tax advice.
