Job Description
A multinational company in New Cairo is seeking to hire Logistics Specialist to be responsible for the following:
- Coordinate pre-shipping instructions and maintain logs, files, and supporting documents
- Handle import shipping documents including a letter of credit, certificate of origin, B/L, invoices…etc.
- Anticipate and minimize any logistic risk
- Review received shipments against purchase orders & following up on any discrepancies
- Review LCs and manage terms negotiations
- Responsible for the customs clearance, logistics & warehousing
- Oversee the pick-up and transfer of shipments with appropriate partners
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with vendors and suppliers
Job Requirements
- Maximum 0-2 years of experience in Logistics
- Fresh graduates with related educational background or training in a supply chain are welcome to apply
- Experience in handling import shipments for experienced candidates
- Knowledge of LCs is a plus
- Flexibility to travel for customs clearing purposes in emergencies when required
- Multinational exposure is a plus
- Excellent English language skills
