Job Description
- Oversee the development, planning, and implementation of environmental health and safety policies and procedures across the site and in line with corporate HSE policies.
- Assure compliance with government regulations pertaining to environmental and safety issues. Manage all contacts with appropriate agencies.
- Develop HSE strategies that support business needs and vision for the organization.
- Ensure that the company managers are informed on QHSE matters and proposed changes, and any implications or potential implications of such changes.
- Ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken on health, safety, and environmental hazards or potential hazards.
- Develop and implements management systems and new programs to reduce injury potential and ensure robust regulatory compliance.
- Manage the activities of HSE Team.
- Develop and oversees company training programs for employees in areas such as hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, life safety and environmental compliance.
- Report any critical incidence or emergency situation to the top management.
- Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate safety and environmental system procedures, and ensure complying with the latest ISO 14001 and legal requirements.
- Prepare and submit a complying declaration report to the top management in the management review meeting.
- Identify opportunities for continual environmental improvement, and perform a risk assessment to identify risks and opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering.
- Experience: at least 10 years experience.
- Language: Fluent English Language proficiency.
- Computer: Good Computer skills proficiency.
