Procurement Engineer

Job Purpose:

- Handles the buying of an array of Technical goods linked to the engineering projects engaged to communication, Mechatronics, Medical and Electronics.

Job Description:

• Searching for the Technical equipment according to specific features provided by other company departments.
• Identify National and international suppliers.
• Comparing suppliers’ prices.
• Matching the suppliers’ prices with company budget
• maintain the contacts of suppliers.
• negotiate purchase agreements with suppliers.
• collaborates with engineering sales, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.
• Write customer Technical & Financial offer (Drafting the presentation (.
• Make the offer presentation.
• Respond to the customer RFQ &RFI
• Received the offer acceptance.
• Complete the purchase agreements with suppliers.
• Ensure all logistics are planned in advance as per project programmed.
• work with suppliers to ensure products needed to complete projects are available when required and are up to quality specifications.
• Manage shipment, insurance, custom clearance, payment of duty and all documentation till material in handed over to the warehouse.
• Follow up shipping operation process by (mail – Telephone).
• check the technical equipment when received, confirm it’s up to quality specifications, coding them and maintain the inventory of supplies in the warehouse.
• Follow up the warehouse man when the equipment is going out the warehouse.
• Track and update management on interface issues with various components of the projects equipment which affect overall project schedule and Cost.
