Job Description
- Responsible for the rollout of the compliance program in the company including code of ethics and related policies and procedures.
- Ensure general compliance throughout the company and guide them accordingly.
- Liaise with EFSA in relation to microfinance law and its related regulations/decrees and update the company accordingly.
- Deliver awareness sessions and periodically trainings throughout the company in relation to code of ethics, company procedures and policies.
- Develop and oversee controls to prevent and/or deal with violations of legal requirements and company policies.
- Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously.
- Revise procedures and policies periodically to identify hidden non-conformity issues (if any).
- Draft, modify and implement company policies whenever needed.
- Collaborate with company departments to monitor the enforcement of policies, procedures and regulations.
- Review work to identify compliance issues and provide advice.
- Prepare reports and presentations to the company management as appropriate.
Job Requirements
- Education - Bachelor of Law
- Years of Experience: 8-10 years of experience
- Preferred Background – In-house or Law Firm background and compliance experience is a plus.
