Job Description
We are looking for a talented designer with a passion for creating awesome UI designs to join the team behind WUZZUF, Egypt's top job platform serving more than 1 million visits each month! More than 80k people were hired using our platforms at more than 10,000 companies.
Role:
We want a designer who can focus on designing systems as much as the UI, with product-thinking that is mature and complementary to the visual and UX design.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with interaction design, product management, and user research on all product & visual design elements.
- Translate wireframes and experiences into highly-polished visual design elements with a user-centered design methodology.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- You MUST have experience or strong knowledge of mobile design, web forms design, and usability.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience designing digital products (web/mobile)
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop / Sketch
- A solid portfolio that can speak to both your UX and visual design skills.
- A solid and up to date understanding of best practices, developments, and trends in web, mobile, iOS, and Material design.
While not required, the following attributes will help set you apart from the other candidates:
- Passionate about Startups. worked at Startups OR participated in Startup Weekend or similar events.
- Aware of web and mobile app technologies and platforms... Most importantly front end ones, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.. No coding experience needed.
- Experience with the following tools: Sketch, Invision, Axure, and other prototyping tools.
- Deep knowledge of designing ecosystems
- Product management experience
- Usability or UX research skills
- Ability to Illustrate custom icons/elements is a huge plus
* Note: Candidates identified to continue in the process will be asked to complete a design exercise in addition to a formal interview.
