The Heads of Key-Stages’ responsibilities are to establish, manage, lead and supervise the assigned Key Stage and enthusiastically promote its development according to the school’s aims and objectives and overall curriculum policy.
Also, to provide support and guidance to class/specialist teachers in developing and planning their schemes of work, ensuring continuity and progression throughout the curriculum.
The Head of Key-Stage must also ensure teachers follow all procedures
regarding homework, assessments, recording and reporting, behavior and discipline, as well as, deal with discipline issues escalated by individual teachers.
The candidate must work with teachers on their individual development plans, through regular observations, feedback and target setting. The Head of Key-Stage must supervise and maintain a positive, constructive supportive and well-disciplined learning environment that is conducive to learning.
It is the Head of Key-Stage's responsibility to maintain leadership and professional standards, including organization and
communication, to ensure student learning and to contribute actively to the school community.
The candidate should create and maintain the curricular handbook, as well as overlook the administration of standardized testing.

A minimum of 5 year’s teaching experience in the applied Key-stage.
A minimum of 2 years of management experience.
A Bachelor Degree or Master degree, preferably in the Educational field
Computer skills § Excellent command of the English language.
Experience with the UK National/ Cambridge curriculum.
Proven ability to lead staff towards instructional improvement and conduct regular staff development sessions.
