Mechanical Design Engineer

• Cerebrus Corporation is a growing Engineering company with a wide range of products and services tailored toward the automation industry.
• As part of the growth, the company is currently looking to add to its growing line of mechanical and electromagnetic device products and services. In doing so, Cerebrus is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer who will be responsible for mechanical design of various devices and systems related tot he manufacturing and automation industries.

Job Description:

• Develop concepts for new and innovative mechanical and electro-mechanical devices for the automation industry
• Model and perform mechanical and electromagnetic analysis in order to optimize certain variables within a design
• Utilize CAD software to model and design the various products in Solidworks
• Perform FEA analysis on the product designs to observe/improve the effect of heat and other factors within the design
• Provide mathematical models and excel based spreadsheets to aid in efficient design of electro-mechanical designs
• Run risk analysis on all designs and develop mitigation plans for risk factors beyond a given threshold
• Design in accordance with the company’s ISO 9001 design procedures and be able to clearly provide detailed design reports in English
• Develop engineering technical data packages and design transfer documents for manufacturing purposes
