Job Description
- Liaising with clients in person, over the phone or via email to discuss their travel requirements.
- Advising clients on suitable options for domestic or international destinations, tours, accommodation, transport, insurance and fares.
- Preparing customized itineraries to suit the clients’ preferences and budget.
- Making and confirming bookings, often via a Global Distribution System (computerized central reservation system).
- Issuing tickets or relevant documents.
- Providing up to date advice on travel regulations including baggage limits, safety and local customs.
- Modifying existing bookings to suit a change in clients’ circumstances.
- Researching destinations and keeping up to date with travel industry news.
- Responsible for handling customer enquiries, converting enquiries into sales, ensuring proper service support to customers, and collection of outstanding dues and cash.
- Assessing individual's and business people's needs to help them make the best possible travel arrangements. An agent may specialize by type of travel or destination
- Promoting travel packages on behalf of cruise lines, resorts, and specialty travel groups.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction to Almosafer’s products and services.
- Maintaining confidentiality of customer data.
- Collect and ensure payments of his/her online/offline bookings and any other associated costs.
- Follow diligently business quality standards afforded by the company.
- Achieve on monthly basis KPI’s targets afforded by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree ( Preferred in Tourism)
- Very good English ( Speaking & Writing)
- At least one year experience as a travel consultant
- Call Center experience is a MUST
- Strong communication and sales skills
- The ability to prioritize and cope with pressure at rush times
- Flexibility with rotational shifts
